Nature Type
Nature is an ocean of inspiration. It's open, beautiful, and boundless. With the world being so screen-ori- ented, it is important to pause for a moment and realign our lives with nature. There are endless possibilities in nature: trees, branches, stems, leaves, colorful flowers, and berries. The main idea behind the project is to creatively design all the 26 letters of the alphabet, using the elements of nature. Through "Nature Type"we hope to rebuild our connection with our own environment each letter by nature!
Design Process
This book was created in the Fall Quarter of Two Thousand and Twenty Two at The Savannah College of Art, Atlanta Campus. It was a group assignment created in the Typographic Communication class. The main typeface used is Palatino. The books were ink-jet printed and accordion folded with a sleeve enclosure. Only 20 books were produced.
