"Discovering the Future of Typography: Exploring the Beauty and Versatility of Avenir. ". This typographic project focuses on featuring the different aspects and uses of the Avenir font. Collaterals include posters and motion design.

Avenir is a sans-serif typeface designed by Swiss typeface designer Adrian Frutiger in 1988. It is a geometric sans-serif font that takes inspiration from the earlier sans-serif designs of the 1920s and 1930s. The name "Avenir" means "future" in French and reflects Frutiger's belief that this typeface would embody the spirit of the future.

Design Process

The design process for this project basically included researching about the Avenir font: it's history, origin and the idea behind it. The research part gave me a better idea of portraying the Avenir typeface in the book with its design and color scheme matching to its character.
